Taste

Equal ounces of gin, crème de cacao, and cream. The gin is the drink the Brandy Alexander forgot. Shaken, coupe. Juniper, cocoa, and cream.

History

Hugo R. Ensslin prints the Alexander in Recipes for Mixed Drinks (1916): equal gin, crème de cacao, and sweet cream. The brandy version crowded it out. This menu is Ensslin's original, one ounce each, shaken, coupe.

Same shape, other bottles
